Description

This elegant early 19th century Chinese Export paper originally hung on the first floor of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. It was removed by Queen Victoria and taken to Buckingham Palace, where it is likely, much of it was used to decorate the Yellow Drawing Room. Sections of the set were returned to Brighton and re installed in the 1920's, when it graced the formal saloon. We were asked to undertake the conservation of this wonderful paper as part of an exciting project to accurately reinstate the interiors.
